jagovino Mother’s Day is always bittersweet to me since I lost my mom 10 years ago and it’s never been the same without her. Luckily, I have an amazing husband and 2 great boys who shower me like a princess on Mother’s Day and make me feel so special. Our Mother’s Day always consists of brunch, just the 4 of us, and then I get the afternoon to myself- pure bliss! I can say, that I am in love with their cream complexion stick and highlighting balm and recently started using the mascara as well. I’ll admit- I was a skeptic about at-home laser hair removal. But, I am now a believer after using this $200 Braun gadget from Amazon. After two months consecutively using this once a week, I can state that I have lasered my bikini area without having to step foot into a salon, or pay the money! With summer coming up, this would make a great gift!

If shopping for your home is your love language, I’ve got two great gift ideas. Anthropologie is always a go-to for gifts. They come out with a Mother’s Day Gift Guide each year which includes jewelry, home goods, and accessories. I’ve had my eye on these colorful wine glasses, which come in a set of 4. How great are they for summer cocktail parties by the pool?
We got this blanket for Christmas and everyone in my house fights over it. It is super soft and big enough for 2-3 people to snuggle up with. It comes in a ton of colors and less than half the price of a Barefoot Dreams blanket, and just as cozy, this would make the perfect gift. I love this cream color but it also comes in brighter colors as well. Great house staple that everyone will love.
Splurge-Worthy
We are going on a big trip in August and with a 10+ hour flight, I know I am going to need some good headphones. I have the Apple AirPods but they are never comfortable in my ears and I feel like these new AirPods Max would be great for drowning out noise and fit comfortably over my ears. I’ve also heard they are great for working out! Definitely splurge-worthy but now is the time to make some splurge on you! PS- of course, I want them in this beautiful green color!
